About Arthur W. Prichard
Arthur W. Prichard writes the kind of stories he always wanted to find on the shelf: a Victorian inventor flung across seven civilizations, a lawyer walking into a case built to bury her, a woman whose silence is the only thing keeping her alive.
The books are half of it. The other half is the machine that makes them. Arthur spent fifteen years as a vice president of AI at one of the largest car makers on earth, and now he builds his own: architectures for large language models that lead with emotional intelligence and empathy, a research program aimed squarely at pre-superintelligence, and a new language for thinking machines designed to cut their compute needs by 90 percent.
He also runs a telephone company staffed by machines that never forget a caller, builds his websites himself, usually in a weekend, and treats social media as a laboratory. He thinks of publishing as a performance art: the factory is on stage, and it had better be interesting to watch.
His books are published through Bilistage, where every novel ships with original songs written for its chapters, free first chapters, and films made from the stories.
He lives in Oregon, drinks more coffee than he admits, and answers reader mail when the coffee runs out.
